First successful exhibition at ECP 2011

From 27 August to 1 September, 2011, microDimensions co-exhibited their innovative software solutions at the 23rd European Congress of Pathology (ECP) in Helsinki, which is the largest and most important meeting for pathologists and associated businesses in Europe.

microDimensions products received great acceptance and feedback from the scientific community as well as customers and the business community.

Scientific paper accepted at MICCAI

The team of microDimensions got a paper accepted at one of the best international conferences in the field of biomedical image analysis, Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Interventions (MICCAI).

With a double-blind full paper review process and an acceptance rate of 30% (251 accepted out of 819 submitted) this conference ranks highest in the respective scientific community. The team of microDimensions is proud that its innovative results can be presented in Toronto, CA in September 2011.

microDimensions welcomes new team member

microDimensions proudly announces its fourth team member: Dipl. Hdl. Stephanie Starke, MBR.

With a solid education and working experience in business administration, banking, and pharmaceutical industry, Stephanie is currently finishing her PhD at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München on "Fostering Networking as a Decisive Entrepreneurial Ability". Her major interests are entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education, social networks, as well as the conceptual design and evaluation of e-learning environments. Fully starting in September 2011, she will add her pooled knowledge to microDimensions.

EXIST-Forschungstransfer awarded

The members of the microDimensions team (Martin Groher, Marco Feuerstein, and Hauke Heibel) were awarded an EXIST-Forschungstransfer grant by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi), which supports exceptional research based company formations. Starting in March 2011, they will develop innovative technologies for 3D reconstruction and analysis in microscopy and histopathology.
